Introduction to Distillation
Introduction to the classic types of Gin (Genever, Old Tom, (London) Dry Gin, Compound),
the origins of Gin and a brief history and background overview. Tasting #1 – Taste all 4 types of gins outlined above.
How is Gin produced, and what are botanicals?
Participants can "taste" all botanicals. It will be explained how these affect different components of the gin, how distillation works and how gin is produced.
The Gin Hype
How did the current gin boom come about? What are New Western / Contemporary / Craft Gins? Tasting #2 is based on 4 different "modern" gins and you will taste the differences between these and classic gins.
nginious! and the Liquid Spirit Distillery
The history of nginious! and the distillery. In tasting #3 you will taste of all nginious! Gins
as well as the hear the background and story about all the varied gins.
Small Tonic Excursion
What role does the right Tonic Water play? Tasting #4 consists of 4 different Tonic Waters.
